About:
Roundcube Contemporary was formerly known as 'Office Space,' which was founded by Alexis Davidson and Albert Abdul-Barr Wang in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah in the Christmas of 2020. Originally conceived as an office desk with temporary spaces, the gallery originally represented young, cutting-edge, and experimental artists seeking to address political and controversial themes, as well as highly conceptual work(s) which do not fit the mold of a traditional, uncontested space.

Now based in Chelsea, New York, Roundcube Contemporary carries the baton where Office Space left off, aiming for representation of emerging and mid-career artists who have become masters of their own craft, vision, and philosophy. Mastery is the decisive concept that marks those who make it into the art world, and the gallery curation seeks to be highly selective in this regard. A key ingredient in this process of mastery is the seeking of a kind of limitation or oxymoron-like impossibility, as if one could travel faster than the speed of light, or a cube might be round. We believe that mastery stands at the liminal edge of what is possible and impossible, and we strive to elevate this particular class of artists who master their original visions as near-impossible creations.
